WHAT IS A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE?

Personal digital certificate is a recognized authentication mark of a natural person to act as an electronic signature or fingerprint. Issued to natural persons who need to interact with public administrations and other institutions.

It is an electronic document issued by a Certification Authority and identifies a person (natural or legal), protected with a password.
