Rehabilitation of vehicles

PROCESS DESCRIPTION:

To carry out this procedure. The application is required in official form, the contract of mandate signed by the interested party and the payment of the fee.

Identification of the interested party:

  • Individuals: they need a document that proves the identity and address of the owner (can be the DNI, Spanish driving license, residence card, passport or NIE).
  • Legal persons: tax identification card of the company in question and the accreditation of the representation and identity of the person signing.
  • Minors and disabled: here you need the data and signature of the father, mother or guardian, as well as the DNI and a document that accredits the concept for which it operates.

In the event that the applicant is not the owner of the vehicle, he must provide a document proving the property in question.

Once the documentation has been presented to the Traffic Headquarters, if applicable, you must send a letter to the ITV station, in order to submit the vehicle to an inspection, where once passed, these documents must be presented:

  • ITV card issued for this purpose by the ITV station that has been used.
  • Agricultural vehicles must provide a document accrediting being registered in the Official Register of Agricultural machinery of the Autonomous Community.
  • Transport Certificate in the case of a bus or a freight vehicle that has an MMA of more than 6 tons and a load of more than 3.5 tons.

Likewise, proof of payment / exemption of the Property Transfer tax must be presented in the event that no invoice is presented or that the person requesting the rehabilitation is different from the last owner. Also add that you must provide the Proof of payment / exemption of the City Traffic Circulation Tax where the applicant is domiciled.
